Q: Can I use the headset outdoors?

Yes and No. It is possible, but we do not in any way recommend using VR headsets outside. The cameras on the headset need optimal lighting to operate. Direct sunlight can mess with the cameras and, at worst, damage the screen and lenses inside the headset. You should use the headset inside for the best result.

Q: What devices do you support?

Kanda develops primarily for the Meta Quest 2, Meta Quest 3 and the Meta Quest Pro VR headset. However, some applications also support tablet, pc, and smartphone use.

Q: I can't login with Safari

We discovered that there might be a bug when trying to log in with your smartphone and the "Safari" browser. If the URL is typed manually, you might experience an authentication problem. To solve this, please make sure that "https://" is added before app.kanda.dk.

Q: Meta Quest Factory Reset

Factory resetting the Meta Quest is a last resort but can fix many persistent issues: At startup: Hold the power and volume down button, use the volume buttons to select Factory Reset , and press the power button to confirm. Note : This will erase all data on your headset, so back up important information to your account.

Q: Meta Quest No Sound or Distorted Audio

Solution : Check the volume on the headset using the volume buttons on the side. Ensure nothing is plugged into the 3.5mm audio jack that could be overriding the sound. Clean the headphone ports and ensure they are dust-free. Try using different headphones if the internal speakers are not working. Reboot the headset or perform a factory reset if the issue persists.

Q: Meta Quest Headset Not Turning On

Solution : Charge the headset for at least 30 minutes , then attempt to power it on by holding the power button for 10 seconds. Try a different charging cable and adapter if the current one doesn't seem to be working. Perform a hard reset : Hold the power button and the volume down button together for 10-15 seconds until the boot menu appears. Use the volume buttons to navigate to Power Off and press the power button to confirm. If this fails, try a factory reset as mentioned above.

Q: Meta Quest Software & Game Issues

App or Game Not Launching Solution : Reboot the headset and try launching the app again. Uninstall and reinstall the app: Go to Library , find the app, click the three dots, and select Uninstall . Ensure the app is updated by checking the Updates tab in your Library. Headset Freezes or Crashes Solution : Hold the power button for 10 seconds to force a restart. Make sure the headset has enough free storage space . Delete unused apps to free up space. Perform a factory reset if the problem persists (only as a last resort): Hold the power and volume down buttons to access the boot menu, then select Factory Reset .

Q: Meta Quest Connectivity Issues

Wi-Fi Not Connecting Solution : Restart your router and ensure the Wi-Fi network is working on other devices. Forget the network in Settings > Wi-Fi , then reconnect by entering the password again. Ensure you are connecting to a 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz network —sometimes 5 GHz works better for VR. Make sure your router isn't using MAC address filtering , which could block your device.
